Find the right positioning, explore the possibilities, define changing and unchanging features
Dans le cadre de ma formation au Greta, exercice de conception de la ligne graphique d’une collection intitulée « Femmes d’exception », publiée par Le Monde.
Mes choix pour cet exercice :
- Invariant : un fond uni blanc cassé en référence aux grandes collections du monde de l’édition afin d’appuyer le positionnement « ouvrage de référence » de la collection éditée par Le Monde
- Invariant : un titre et un sous-titre simples pour en assurer une lecture évidente
- Variant : un montage géométrique sur le visage du sujet évoquant les multiples facettes de ces femmes d’exception
- Variant : une couleur dominante et un rappel au verso, en symétrie, de la forme du montage de la couverture
Par ailleurs, une bannière interactive a été créée pour la promotion de la collection, en tirant profit du dynamisme des formes acérées du montage photo.

As part of my training at Greta, design exercise for the graphic line of a collection entitled “Women of exception”, published by Le Monde.
My choices for this exercise:
- a plain off-white background in reference to the major collections in the publishing world in order to support the “reference work” positioning of the collection published by Le Monde
- a simple title and subtitle to ensure easy reading
- a geometric montage on the subject's face evoking the multiple facets of these exceptional women
- a dominant color and a reminder on the back, in symmetry, of the shape of the cover montage
In addition, an interactive banner was created to promote the collection, taking advantage of the dynamism of the sharp shapes of the photo montage.
